I always dreamed of a job that never felt like work and becoming a stylist definitely made that dream come true. I have always had a love for hair, makeup, and fashion because it’s how we express ourselves after all! Choosing this path has given me the gift of helping others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin! I graduated high school in 2021, and the following year I graduated from Cosmetology and Spa Academy in August of 2022. I decided to move from my hometown in Geneva, IL to the city of Champaign for a change of scenery.

I struck gold when I found Something You, the salon I’ve dreamed of, and I couldn’t be happier! As of now, I am a protégé learning under some of their very talented stylists. I love learning tips and tricks from all the girls. This group creates a very positive and uplifting environment that makes learning fun! I already see lots of improvement in my skills! I can’t wait to see what is in store for me as I continue to grow as a stylist here at Something You Salon.
